Welcome to the Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization whose purpose is to cultivate a closer relationship between the community and the library, to promote knowledge of Yorba Linda Public Library services and resources, and to provide financial support for library sponsored community enrichment and reading programs.
We operate the Book Corner, a used book store located on the first floor of the library. Staffed completely by our member volunteers, we have convenient store hours and encourage leisurely browsing. All proceeds from the Book Corner are donated to the library to support its community programming.
Shopping at the Book Corner is a great way to support the Friends and our library. In addition, the Book Corner also accepts gently used books and other media, which are sold to the public. More information can be found under the Book Corner section of this website.
Becoming a member of the Friends is another way to support the library. In addition to helping fund community programs, members are able to become volunteers at the Book Corner, take part in special members-only sales, receive the Friends Newsletter with advance notice of events, and enjoy member social events. More information on membership can be found in the Become a Friend section of the website.
